I’ve been gardening in some way or another my whole life. When I was little I used to stop my mom in store parking lots to pull weeds in the grassy medians, and I remember my first garden to kitchen experience, which involved an especially prolific cherry tomato plant. At the time, I wasn’t interested in eating tomatoes, so I would take the uneaten tomatoes and squish them into the soil to grow plants to give to family and friends.

Though I enjoy pulling weeds less now than when I was a seedling, I still love growing and sharing. When I started to spend most of my time daydreaming about plants, growing, and designing gardens, I created Botanical Dreaming, hoping to spread the joy of growing with others.

I’ve grown and learned so much about myself through gardening, and I know the world would be a better place if every home or community had a kitchen garden.
